As was announced after all Masses on the weekend of January 26th & 27th, the tax letter from the parish was issued with the incorrect date. At the top of the letter, it should have stated "January 2019" and not "January 2018".
In addition, it has also been brought to my attention that contributions to the Diocesan Lenten Appeal were not listed on the parish tax letter either. While contributions to the Diocesan Lenten Appeal are listed on a parish tax letter as a courtesy, anyone contributing two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) or more to the 2018 Diocesan Lenten Appeal should have received a separate tax letter from The Catholic Foundation Office of the diocese. I apologize for these oversights and any inconveniences they may have caused. To the best of our knowledge, regular weekly offertory and special collections are accurately reported in the parish tax letter.
If anyone is in need of a new tax letter, please contact Connie at the parish office. If you have noticed a discrepancy in your contributions, please contact Mary Kay Yarchak whose email address in listed in the parish tax letter.
Your continued financial support of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish is greatly appreciated. I remind all of you to please consider signing up for the WeShare electronic offertory program that has been started at the parish. For more information about WeShare, please contact Connie at the parish office.
Thank you, and may God continue to bless all of you.
